Lancashire Artist of the Year FINALIST
That was an exciting and proud day... I am Lancashire 'born and bred' I live in Lancashire, my studio is in Lancashire. I talk with a warm and rich Lancashire accent - I am extremely proud of my roots. SO - imagine (as an artist) being chosen to represent Lancashire in its bounty of glory in the coming years calander for LANCASHIRE - blown away. As an old aunt would say ... well a'll go t'foot o'our stairs. A cry of amazed disbelief at what had or was about to happen - Many turns of the moon ago!
All of the finalists' entries will feature in Lancashire Artist of the Year 2024 calendar, the proceeds of which will go towards activities to support Lancashire Care Leavers. 2024 CALANDERS will be available to purchase from the 15th of September in all Lancashires libraries and archives
